Super-rare McLaren F1 GTR Longtail is up for grabs
There are rare cars and then there are super-rare cars. The McLaren F1 GTR Longtail is one of those super-rare cars that barely anyone of us have seen. It was the first car to feature the Longtail name and the car you see here is the first road-legal F1 GTR Longtail.
The car features a 6.0-litre BMW V12 engine that produces an air restrictor-controlled 600 horsepower. The engine is mated to an X-Trac six-speed sequential transmission.
This particular car is the first of the 10 F1 GTR Longtails.
This #19R F1 GTR was converted to road-legal specification by Lanzante and Gordon Murray Design.
Because this is a Longtail, it has increased downforce thanks to heavy bodywork. While the weight of the original car was just 910kg, this will be higher due to the road-spec conversion. But still. Want.
