Swatch celebrates the Tokyo Olympics 2020 with three new watches
Which is your favourite?
Last year, the Olympic games was cancelled due to COVID-19, but many businesses had already prepared for it. For example, Swatch had launched a new line of watches to celebrate it, but they never saw the light of day... until now.
To celebrate the 2020 Tokyo Olympics which is currently taking place, Swatch has launched three new watches called 'TOKYO 2020 BLUE', 'BB KURENAI RED', and 'BB KURENAI BLUE'.
The BB Kurenai Red watch is claimed to express a festive feeling, while the Kurenai Blue design has an indigo shade.
What we like is the Tokyo 2020 branding on the dial of these watches, as well as the straps.
The Tokyo 2020 blue is a 34mm watch with Swatch's Quartz movement, 30 metres of water resistance, a silicone strap, and a plastic case.
As for the other two, these are 47mm Quartz watches with 30 metres of water resistance, a silicone strap, plastic case, and a aluminium clasp.
Both the BB Kurenai Blue and BB Kurenai Red watches cost ¥13,200 (£92/$120/€111), while the Tokyo 2020 Blue design is priced at ¥8,800 (£61/$80/€74).
