Introduced this summer, the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA and GTAm are extreme versions of the already sensational Giulia Quadrifoglio. With various carbon fibre aerodynamic elements, the car already looks very aggressive! And when it comes to engine noise, the Italian sports saloon is clearly not behind the competition.

For example, it was at the recent Supercar Owners Circle in Gstaad, Switzerland that one of them was surprised. This is fortunate considering that Alfa Romeo will only produce 500 examples of the Giulia GTA and GTAm combined. So the photographers had a lot of fun filming the beauty.

Already impressive at a standstill, the car emits a simply delicious sound when accelerating, with particularly marked gear changes. The secret of this melody is without a doubt the presence of the Akrapovič exhaust system, which generously amplifies the tone of the engine.

As a reminder, the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm has a 2.9-litre V6 that delivers an impressive 540 PS and a generous 600 Nm of torque. All this power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

  • Awesome. However i do not know if driver was driving it in auto mode or manual but gears were getting shifted before engine could reach redline which make it sound less aggressive.
