The weather was terrible. Cold, wet and a little bit windy, but after being invited by Pescara International to check out its new premises, we couldn't turn the offer down. They also kindly provided us with hot drinks and pastries, while we checked out their very, very impressive stock.
The Lamborghini was a highlight for me. It looks amazing and was the pick of the bunch. With that said, there was a Mclaren, Mercedes, Bentley, a couple of Ferrari's and a Rolls Royce that were pushing for that honour.
After having a good look round their smart new showroom, we all headed off in convoy to Goodwood Motor Circuit. The weather couldn't make its mind up. Rain, then sunshine, then overcast, followed by more rain, it really put a damper on proceedings.
Arriving at Goodwood, we quickly had to run for shelter as we were caught in yet more rain. Except this time, we didn't have the luxury of our supercars as a barrier against the elements. Once the rain finally subsided, we had a look round the other parked cars at the venue. The pick of the cars on show had to be the LaFerrari, the TDF and a sublime, Lime Green Lambo.
We stayed for a bit. There was a track day in full flow (in aid of a local charity), which we did watch for a while. However, with the weather continuing to be a pain and with an unpleasant chill in the air, we decided to call it a day. At least we now know where the impressive Pescara operate from. Who knows, maybe we shall visit again in the future. For a purchase perhaps?
