With the TCR Europe Drivers and Teams Championships up for grabs, there are several drivers who are well placed to fight hard to secure these titles.
Target Competition has entered three Hyundai's, with John Filippi, Andreas and Jessica Bäckman. All capable of lifting trophies.
BRC Racing increase the number of Hyundai i30 N TCR's on the grid to five as they have signed up TCR Europe race winners Dániel Nagy and Mat’o Homola for the new season. Both men have been title contenders in the past, so expect no different for the 2020 season.
Meanwhile, Honda is well represented with a strong lineup at Brutal Fish Racing, where Team Principal Martin Ryba is joined by 2018 TCR UK Champion Daniel Lloyd and former WTCR race winner Pepe Oriola.
German siblings Mike and Michelle Halder have also announced a two-car entry in the series. Mike Halder had an impressive debut in 2018, where he won the final race of the season in convincing style.
2019 TCR Benelux Champion Julien Briché returns for another season, where his JSB Compétition squad will run three Peugeot 308 TCRs for himself, Jean-Laurent Navarro and Briché's son Florian. Briché will be in the hunt for the title
Team Clairet Sport also returns with an expanded lineup of four Peugeot 308 TCRscars, where brothers Jimmy and Teddy Clairet are joined for a full season by both Gilles Colombani and Stéphane Ventaja.
Comtoyou Racing returns for another season in TCR Europe, fielding a three-car Audi lineup. WTCR podium visitor Mehdi Bennani moves to the series and starts as a favourite.
The Morrocan driver is joined by young guns Sami Taoufik and Nicolas Baert. Whilst Taoufik and Baert are in their debut season, Bennani will be another title contender in the series.

Paul Ricard will see three wildcard entries this weekend as the 24 car field tackles the full Le Castellet circuit.
2019 Dunlop Touring Car trophy/TCR UK runner up Lewis Kent returns for his third wildcard entry in TCR Europe, where previous appearances have been at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.
Russian driver Evgenyi Leonov makes his debut in TCR Europe, where he will drive the only CUPRA TCR in the field this weekend for Volcano Motorsport, a team that has previous experience in the Spanish TCR championship.
Finally, fan favourite Tom Coronel returns for another wild card entry in the Boutsen-Ginion Honda. The Dutch driver has already committed to a full season in WTCR at the wheel of a Comtoyou Racing Audi, so this will be the perfect warmup for Coronel's 2020 season.
