Okay I'm not going to keep teasing you anymore, the third driver will be Latvian Reines Nitiss. Yep I wonder who saw this one coming? Actually I bet a bunch of you did as this was teased not so long back, when Nitiss uploaded a picture (below) of a missed call from Team EKS owner Mattias Ekstrom.
This news probably came to the annoyance of Petter Solberg and Johann Kristoffersson as they had announced a merger in teams in order to be able to compete for the manufacturers championship. But now Team EKS will be running three cars, as well as Team Peugeot-Hanson, and they have now recruited last years Euro RX winner as well as Timmy's younger brother, Kevin Hansen to the team. However even though these two teams have three drivers each, they must only select two drivers to compete in the manufactures championship. So maybe Solbergs hopes haven't been smashed at all?
I'd like to wish Reinis Nitiss all the best with Team EKS, and if you want more updated on the 2017 Fia World Rallycross season, don't forget to follow this tribe - Ryan
