Poster car to many, the Ferrari F40 is a classic. It's one of the most iconic supercars cars of the 80s, and paved the way for cars like the F50, Enzo and LaFerrari. The Grandad of modern Ferrari supercars, if you like.
This F40 is a 1991 example. One of the later ones - it's had its tanks done (don't Google the cost of that....) and is cats and non-adjustable suspension spec. Rock and roll superstar and Ferrari enthusiast, Eric Clapton, owned it from 2000 - 2003.
It has only done 6,750 careful miles and from the pictures, it looks like it's been driven carefully on every single one of them.
The price? Well, a little more than I have down the back of my sofa right now, especially considering it's January and my Christmas credit card bill has just come in. But if I did have £925,000, I'd probably be giving GVE a call right about now.
But just look at it! How cool. This is a car that was 'born' a year before I was, and looks a damn sight better than I do. www.gvelondon.com
