Teenage YouTuber Gage Gillean, son of Texas billionaire and hypercar collector Tim Gillean, has overnight been involved in a horror smash where his fathers $3.4M USD Pagani Huayra Roadster was all but destroyed. Images and videos from the crash have been making the rounds on social media and suffice to say, this was a very serious accident and it's questionable whether the car will see the road again.

It is unclear at this stage if this was a single-vehicle accident or another car was involved. Luckily it seems no one was hurt, with Gage and his passenger, another YouTuber who goes by the name 'zacxak', escaping the accident without injury, perhaps a testament to the 'carbotanium' employed in the Huayra's construction and its resistance to shattering unlike traditional carbon-fibre. Zacxak uploaded an Instagram story confirming that himself and Gage were fine.

As can be seen in the photos, damage to the front of the car is substantial, with the left side door and one or both front wheels ripped completely off the vehicle. Bits of carbon fibre and a range of other debris from the crash can also be seen strewn across the highway.

The Huayra in question has been identified as chassis 76029, a stunning bespoke roadster finished in purple-tinted exposed-carbon with a cream leather interior. Other cars in Tim Gillean's garage include a Bugatti Chiron, McLaren Senna and Ferrari LaFerrari. A relatively new addition to the collection, the Huayra was acquired by the billionaire back in June this year.

Gage uploaded a video shortly after the accident on his YouTube channel GG Exotics outlining what happend, however this video has since been removed. • I know people will say that he crashed because he's young, but there can be many factors as to what caused the crash and not just his skill. He has some experience driving the other cars, so I'm sure he knew what he was doing.

      • Exactly, that’s usually the instant thing and assumption. I’m not saying that’s not the case but maybe wait until it’s known he was messing around and messed up causing the crash. Then again super cars can be hard to handle and unpredictable...

      • Why? Do you know for sure what happened, how it happened? And was he at fault?

      • What parent with a brain would let a 17 year-old drive a multi-million dollar car with another youtuber? The idiot here is the father imo

    • It’s just a car, the old man can afford it, those kids are lucky to be alive and no other innocent lives were involved. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

      • It’s bespoke, which means it’s made exclusively for him, so he’s destroyed the only version of that car in the world.

      • Pagani certainly wouldn’t shy away from building another bespoke replacement for a paying customer.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
