Tesla autopilot crashes police car in Connecticut

A state trooper's vehicle get rear ended while he was assisting another vehicle this past Friday evening in Connecticut. The driver advised that he was checking on his dog in the back seat when the incident occurred. The driver was charged with reckless driving and reckless endangerment as he is still considered negligible and must still be engaged with the car at all times.

  • Tesla really needs to eliminate the autopilot feature. Their autopilot feature is incredibly dangerous. It was reckless to offer it to the public on production vehicles in it's current state. Tesla is 20 years too early.

    They need to find a way for it to disengage for the slightest removal of both hands from the wheel.
