  • All that wasted water on one car. As they said if it was a gasoline powered car it would have used less water and the fire would have been out quicker.

  • If the fire department was putting water on an electronic fire....well they need to go back to fire school. Dry chem or foam should have been used, especially on today's cars with crazy build materials and the commonplace of hybrid and Ev vehicles.

Tesla's don't catch fire any more or less than any other brand, they just get more press because, well I don't know. Maybe Elon scares people.

    • Well maybe because they´re just shit and the drivers do suck?

    • They are THE shit and given I live in a state where a turn signal lever is just a place for women to put their scrunchies and not actually indicate which direction you're intending to go, I would definitely say regardless of what you drive most...

  • Electronic things that catch fire every day:

    E cigarettes

    Cell phones

    Power lines

    Flat screen TVs

    Etc etc etc

Let’s get rid of all of them and go back to living in caves

Oh and by the way, gasoline cars catch fire hundreds of times every day

  • I am guessing that the reason why it caught on fire is because it’s coal powered or the battery’s have a thin protection case.
