The interior will feature a new centre console and a new steering wheel with a much better appearance. The electric sedan could also be fitted with dual-layer glass, which would considerably reduce wind noise. In terms of equipment, a heat pump will be fitted to reduce electricity consumption in winter.

This option will nevertheless reduce the volume of the front boot. Speaking of boot space, the car would also have a rear boot with a motorized tailgate. In terms of customisation, Tesla could also offer new wheels and new exterior colors for the facelifted Model 3. The car should arrive in 2021.

      • Tesla’s have one look and a slight nip and tuck of lights/bumpers does not make for a facelift. Just look at the model S, looks pretty much the same as it did 8 years ago.

      • That should be really nice however, the current interior is fantastic I would just a add a driver side speedometer and range display. Gen 2 Model 3 should be even better, I like the fact their updating the car of the year.

      • Personally the best change Tesla can do is just getting rid of the Model Y or completely redesign it. Thing's so terrible looking it made me started to like the Model 3. Still don't think Model 3, or any Tesla for this matter, worth as much as they are with the build quality though.
