That's one nasty crash
The driver of a Tesla Model S has admitted to watching a movie when he crashed into a Dodge Charger patrol car while on Autopilot in Nash County, North Carolina.
The accident occured on August 26 when a Nash County police car was parked on the side of Highway 64 as a deputy and trooper were attending a previous crash when the Tesla slammed into the rear of their car.
Somehow the driver miraculously survived and has now come out and said that he was watching a movie on his phone while the car was on autopilot.
As a result of this, the driver has been charged with a move over violation and ‘location of television in vehicle.’
