The 10 Coolest cars on Autotrader UK
Jaguar XKR-S - £94,999
This Jaguar is powered by a 5.0L V8 which makes this thing a beast. These are very rare to see (I've certainly never seen one). This V8 produces 543 bhp and 502 lb-ft of torque. It's a true powerhouse and a necessity to the V8 petrolhead. A true British gentleman's muscle car.
Land Rover Defender 90 - £31,500
If you want a car that you can throw round the mud at the weekend and still look good when covered in mud then this is your car! I have admired these for some time now and would love to buy one sometime in the near future. I spent 8 years living in Yorkshire and this is the car you would see everywhere. It's used by farmers, 4X4 enthusiasts, dog owners, horse racers, the lot! I know they may not be the most comfortable mode of transport you can get but it's a fun experience and I truly believe that a Land Rover becomes a part of the family.
Alfa Romeo 164 MK II - £14,990
This is just a fun little rare gem I found! At £14k it's not badly priced either! This Alfa Romeo was designed by Pininfarina and they produced over 270,000 units. The 164 was the first alfa to be produced using computer aided design which was a big step forward in the automotive world. Despite it sharing the same chassis as the Saab 9000, Alfa nailed it with the looks.
Aston Martin Vantage V12 S - £139,950
This example is very similar to one I reviewed earlier this year. Having that 5.9L V12 mated with Aston's Sportshift manual transmission makes this a truly special car. It has a top speed of 205mph and a 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds. The reason one would buy the S over the 'non S' is simply due to a more visceral and raw experience that the S gives you. The Earth trembling exhaust note is only the beginning of what this car is truly capable of.
Audi RS2 - £39,940
Even if this isn't in the iconic blue colour, it's still a beautiful example of the RS2. This shows how well they have appreciated over time. If I had £40k, I would buy one of these in a heartbeat. There is no doubt about that.
Willys Jeep - £19,750
If this doesn't tickle your fancy then there must be something wrong with you...
Replica Shelby Cobra - £39,995
I know all the haters will say "Don't buy a replica" but I think these are done so well and are obviously not the original but still carry excitement and thrill when you drive them for a fraction of the price.
Lamborghini Miura S - £1,349,950
This may not be the cheapest car on Autotrader but you have to take a step back and admire this thing!
Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse - £2,750,000
Once again, not a dirt cheap example of a what's for sale but just look at the blue carbon next to the orange interior! You really have to appreciate how well the Veyron has aged over the years. Don't forget this car came out in 2005. I am aware the Grand Sport Vitesse wasn't released until 2012 but the design fundamentally remained.
Morris Eight (1948) - £9,995
Just seeing this reminds me of Peaky Blinders. I know this is 20 years on from when the show os set but it was around this sort of time where the automobile was booming and this just looks proper cool! I can't help but picture this driving through an old town in the lake district.
