The 11.000Rpm 4AGE powered Starlet KP62 back in the European Hills
For those who follow our Tribe for longer this is not a new Monster but, despite that, it is one that always deserves our attention. It´s Mikko Kataja´s "pride and joy", the 4AGE powered Toyota Starlet KP62 that has already participated in Pikes Peak and Mount Washington HillClimb s in North America and is now back in Europe to compete in the Gemran Berg-Cup series:
Probably the most developed Toyota Starlet RWD in HillClimb Racing, this little 260Hp/760Kg Monster, powered by a 11.000Rpm 4AGE engine completely full of bespoke evolutions is faster than ever and thanks to a nuber of years of development under its belt, all done by its very owner and driver.
Now fitted with a paddle-operated 6-speed Sequential Gearbox and slowly being converted in "Euro-HillClimb" spec, we were able to catch this Flying Finn at Wolsfeld HillClibm where despite some mechanical issues, it still achieved a final 3rd Place ont he 1600cc Class. And trust us, it is only getting faster from this point on...
