The 1,400-hp Mach-E can turn Ford's CEO into a hooligan
High-ranking execs are human after all (sort of)
Sometimes you may tricked into believing CEOs of auto makers aren't human, Elon Musk certainly isn't, but as it turns out, they occasionally like to let their hair down and have some fun with some of the cars the very company they're in charge of is trying to sell.
That's what happened when Ford's CEO Jim Farley joined professional drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr on an abandoned airfield. With a 1,400-hp Mustang Mach-E. I think you can see where this is going.
Ford Performance posted a video of the test on Facebook (link here) and the caption reads: "It’s not a jet taking off, just Ford CEO Jim Farley test driving the all-electric & 1,400 hp Mustang Mach-E 1400 😎".
I gotta say it's refreshing to see Farley temporarily turn into a proper hooligan in a racing suit. And the car sounds great, too. Like a jet taking off.
