Absolutely. As long as it had a decent reliable drivetrain in it, why not? The F-series pickups of those days had some true character. And with the aftermarket what you can do with them, fairly cheaply, is essentially endless!

The old is cooler but manual steering gets old pretty quick for the drive into town. On the highways it isn’t too bad!
