The 2016 F1 grid, made of lego bricks! - I had fun toying with the liveries, and different solutions for the air intakes, noses, sidepods and overall packaging, so that every car is unique! - Tried something different with the sidepods of the Mercedes, I think it turned out quite cool. The black haze on top of the airbox was harder to represent though. - The models were built using Lego Digital Designer, and rendered with BlueRender. If you guys want to see different angles of the cars, or more information about the builds, just ask! - I don't really like this year's Ferrari livery, but hey at least it's easy to make! - I'm quite happy with how the Force India turned out. Obvisously no "nostrils" in the nose though! - Obviously impossible to do thing Martini stripes at this scale, but hopefully this solution got the point across. - Although I quite like the black McLaren livery, it was very hard to make something close to it with the way I do the sidepods. So I had to improvise! - The Toro Rosso car looks fantastic in real life, but it was quite hard to make it differ enough from the Red Bull here. Gold wheels saved me! - Simple colors, but it works quite well for the Haas. - Big fan of the yellow there - The eye-poppong Sauber! - I'm happy with how slick the Manor turned out. - I will upload instructions and parts lists for each of them here, hopefully tomorrow, so that anyone can build them and have fun with them at home! On the post about head protection, I saw people asking for more F1 cars, and someone suggesting I did a full F1 grid. So here it is!

Nah, Vettel's too busy playing ping-pong anyway
Hey, where's the drivers and an exact instruction on which head of the minifigures is to use for Vettel when trying to overtake? Maybe Star Wars emperor Palpatine grim face... ;-)
Thank you! Doing this makes the kid in me smile too :)
Beautiful, so beautiful. It reminds me of my childhood. ^^
