The 2019 Ford Series 1 Mustang RTR has finally been revealed

6w ago

Ford has once again teamed up with RTR vehicles and world champion drifter, Vaughn Gitten Jr to create the Series 1 Mustang RTR. Other than the quite obvious upgrades on the exterior styling this beast has a few other new tricks as well.

The suspension has adjustable swaybars so you can adjust it for drifting, drag racing and even twisty mountain roads without ending up halfway up a telephone pole. They have also tweaked the chassis balance for both passive and MagneRide suspension cars. While the interior will have a special shift gearknob, floor mats and a dashboard with the serialized plague.

While there isn't an exact price tag yet, you can expect it to have two options. You can get a turbocharged four-cylinder 2.3-litre Ecoboost, or if that doesn't float your boat you can get a 5.0-litre Coyote V8.

But if you want one of these you going to have to order quickly because only 500 units will be made of this raging beast. If you want you see it some time soon it will be at the SEMA show in Las Vegas.

"Our goal was to take the driving and owner experience of the iconic Ford Mustang to the next level," said Vaughn Gittin, President of RTR Vehicles. “This collaboration has created a Mustang that offers smile-inducing street driving, diverse capability on the track and a very distinctive owner experience for those looking to stand out from the crowd."

What do you think?
