The 2020 Chevy Camaro is tantalisingly cheap right now

The iconic muscle car can be had for some seriously cheap prices... time to break out the calculator!

When you think of 'muscle cars' three immediately come to mind: The Ford Mustang, the Dodge Challenger, and the Chevrolet Camaro. While the first two have been selling well for the last few years, the Camaro has been somewhat of a bottom-dweller, resulting in some incredible deals for those looking to get their V8-kicks for cheap.

Chevy is now trying to tackle this sales slump by offering impressive cash allowances and rebates on those financing their Camaros, but those that are looking to lease one get perhaps the best deal.

At the time of writing, Chevrolet are pushing the 6.2l V8-powered, 455hp Camaro for just... $279 per month for 39 months. That's insanely cheap, though admittedly you'll be spending plenty in fuel, which kind of makes it less of a cheap option.

If you happen to be leasing or owning a non-GM vehicle that's newer than 2016, the deal is even better, with the opportunity to have a $0 down, no first payment, and no security deposit. Heck. chevy are practically giving away these cars!

Despite the decreasing sales, however, it doesn't seem like Chevrolet are looking to mix up their models any time soon, with the current sixth-generation Camaro rumoured to be kept alive (likely with a thorough facelift) until 2026. Yep, another 5 years with the same generation - that's a lot in today's fast-paced market.

After that, who knows what will happen, perhaps an EV Camaro? Either way, Chevy are putting great faith in their Camaro range, and that means plenty of deals to be done!

  • As a petrol head, I would never suggest that Chevy kill the Camaro (again). However, if they do something insanely stupid, like what Ford did to the Mustang and what rumor is saying about the Corvette, then I would say let it die honorably. Cheers!
