THE 2020 GRAND PRIX OF CATALONIA IS SUSPENDED
The Covid-19 Pandemic is bringing the most complete chaos in the MotoGP, forcing the organizers of the various races to postpone or cancel the events. By now the hope of having an effective calendar seems to have disappeared and the possibility that the championship starts is getting more and more remote.
The latest update concerns the Catalan Grand Prix, which was originally scheduled for June 7th as the second round of the championship but which has now been postponed to a date to be defined. The general secretary of sport of the Generalitat de Catalunya, co-owner of the Barcelona Circuit, believes that there are no options for being able to run in complete safety.
With this postponement, the Grand Prix that has to find a relocation on the calendar rises to four, and the available dates are slowly running out ....
