The 2020 Los Angeles Auto Show Has Been Rescheduled
Case counts in Los Angeles County have not subsided enough to safely hold the event in November
The 2020 Los Angeles Auto Show has been rescheduled. While this news isn't surprising, it's not easy for car enthusiasts to digest. The show is a staple of automotive culture in Southern California and draws international visitors from all over the globe. Its typical November date usually gives those living in the colder climates of the northern hemisphere a reprieve from the frigid temperatures back home as they cover the news coming out of the show.
The date for the show has moved back exactly 6 months, going from November 21-31, 2020 to May 21-31, 2021; with the Automobility LA press event moving from November 18-19, 2020 to May 19-20, 2021. This new May event will definitely be different experience from previous events. The press release from Automobility LA alluded to a possible move from a strictly indoor event to a mixed event with a few activities or exhibits hosted outdoors. I have no idea what exactly that entails but I'm looking forward to finding out.
