The 2021 Maserati MC20 is here (leaked)!

The revival of Maserati to its former glory is fast approaching!

After multiple spyshots, and multiple official (and cheeky) teasers released from Maserati themselves, the build up of anticipation of their latest sports car that is powered by no longer a Ferrari powerplant, instead a 630hp in-house developed 'Nettuno' V6. It surely can be one of the most anticipated releases of 2020 so far, joining the list with the Ford Bronco and Mercedes S-Class.

And just like all other major releases prior to the big day, the same thing has fallen on the MC20 too, and that is, obviously as to the reason you have clicked on the post: The early leaked photos.

On the outside, although this is more supercar than grand tourer, its styling is rather conservative and staying on the safe side with the majority of styling cues being soft and gentle, then disrupted by one or two bold creases. However, I MUST also point out the fact that the bonnet slats of this car are in the shape of Maserati's signature trident, and if in any reason you don't like that thoughtful detail, please stop lying to yourself.

However, the interior is one massive step up from the current generation of Maserati's. Keeping the words 'clean' and simple' as on the exterior, the design team has puffed out an interior, not exactly one that would make your jaw dislocate like with modern Bentley's, but one that will certainly get the job done in minimalist style, with a considerably large driving mode selector sitting on the center console. It also seems like because every other car manufacturer is doing this now, Maserati is now finally adding a digital gauge cluster to this latest flagship, something they also should have done on the facelifts of the Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte.

But like many of the other leaks, unfortunately the only thing that got out of the Bolognese trident's doors were the press photos, and frankly, no specs at all apart from the horsepower of the engine, but again, Maserati said that themselves.

Well I guess we have to wait a bit longer for the reveal tomorrow at 9/9/20 then.

In the time being, drool over these 6 leaked photos.
