What does the I and the E stand for in the name, Apollo IE? Well if you've already watched the video, it will be no surprise that they stand for Intensa (Intense) and Emozione (Emotion).

The roar of that 6.3-litre NA V12 and how fast it can navigate its rev-range fills me with delight. Almost in a similar way F1 V10s used to back when I was much younger. Then you look at the figures, and let me tell you, your pupils will dilate. 780hp, 560lb-ft, and a rev limiter at the dizzying heights of 9000rpm. What a sound!

With a curb weight of only 1,250kg, this maniacal car can reach 60mph in only 2.7 seconds. That means you pay $1,000,000 per second to 60 for this car. Is it worth it? Well, you tell me in the comments.

Apollo, the same guys who made the slightly ugly Gumpert will be producing only ten of these works of art. Of course, all of them will sell, but who can blame the buyers? It's not often we hear of a new car being released with a seriously powerful naturally aspirated engine, so more power to them, I say!

Even more interestingly, Apollo are going with a 6-speed sequential gearbox on this one. Thats right, this is an all-out track car. There's no hiding from that.

Can it get any better?
