  • You guys missed the "sleeper": a 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia, either TI or Super. After parking normally (headlights facing the screen), move the split-bench front seats all the way forward, then drop the back of both seats down as far as they will go. You will find that the front-seat backs fit flush with the backseat seat cushions, giving you a 5-foot-by-5-foot leather-clad "sitting" area. Put your backs against the backseat upright seatbacks, let your legs stretch out on the luxurious leather "bed", and enjoy a double feature!

  • ha ha ha ! Brilliant! I guess vintage for me but NOT a single seater, this is definitely a team outing event so 2 or 4 seats a must. And granny seats don't count, unless you use it for the popcorn bucket. So you ask the best cars, I ask you what are the 5 best car movies to watch in a drive in ?

    • Ok Christine 😂 Thelma & Louise (obvs) and smokey and the bandit ;-)? No seriously now I do love FAF Tokyo Drift so that would be a contender for me.

  • the drive in out here no longer has speakers just uses your car radio. I usually dump a few speakers in the back of my truck and use my phone's fm receiver

    • we were in that orange camper, the stupid radio wouldn't tune low enough to what they were putting out!

  • No where to hang the speaker in the pick up if you're out the back. Everywhere else, all I see is cold, cold, cold. 😄😄. One of those bel airs with the big wide Kelly Johnson inspired windscreens. That should do it and warm too.

    • some folk had speaker systems in the back and tuned their radios so it was like surround sound. Warmth is key though!
