Although it has been out of Europe since the end of 2020, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta is holding out in other markets, including Australia, which is one of the last countries in the world to benefit from the Italian compact car. But this near-monopoly situation will soon come to an end as the Giulietta prepares to say its final goodbye.

The Australian branch of Alfa Romeo is launching a final special series appropriately named Final Edition. Based on the sporty Veloce trim level, only 35 units of this special series will be produced. It features an imitation carbon fibre grille and mirror caps. The brakes are from Brembo.

The lower part of the front grille also has a yellow border. The 18-inch black wheels are specific, as is the exhaust system developed by Magneti Marelli. The interior features black leather upholstery with yellow stitching. The leather steering wheel is also lined with yellow stitching.

Under the bonnet, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Final Edition is powered by a 1.75-litre four-cylinder developing 240 PS and 340 Nm of torque. This is combined with an automatic transmission. After 11 years of existence, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta will be replaced around 2022 or 2023 and will be based on the Peugeot 308 platform.
