Here is Volvo's all new electric car, the C40 Recharge.

Volvo has announced that they plan to be a completely electric car brand by 2030, with this they have revealed their new electric car, It is called the Volvo C40 Recharge and it's the first Volvo in history to be designed as an electric only car, it's based on Volvo's CMA platform, which is shared with the XC40 and Polestar 2.

Battery and Performance

The C40 has two electric motors, one on the front axle, and the second on the rear axle. The 78kWh battery has an anticipated range of 261 miles (420 km), Volvo says that this is expected to improve over time by over-the-air updates. It has 402 BHP and does 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds or 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.

The C40 Recharge looks very good, It has a sloping roofline and a striking rear-end design. The interior will be completely leather-free and will have an Android powered Infotainment system.

The Volvo C40 Recharge will be made in Ghent, Belgium and production will start in Autumn later this year. You will only be able to buy the C40 Recharge online rather than in a Volvo Dealership.
