THE ART OF FORMULA 1 | A 2021 EXCLUSIVE REVIEW
Celebrating 5 Years of the Italian Artists Behind the Covers of Scuderia Ferrari
About "The Art of Formula 1" series
"The Art of Formula 1" is a series created in 2017 highlighting the work of Scuderia Ferrari cover artists and their renditions of each F1 Grand Prix. Each article contains the illustrated cover, an interpretation of the artist's work, some facts and details about the race, a biography of the artist, and some of their additional works. Prior to publication, each artist is contacted to incorporate a recent photo of them as well as to ensure that their biographical information is up to date. This series is a tribute to those often under-recognized, passionate creatives.
Celebrating 5 Years
The Art of Formula 1 Celebrates its five-year anniversary! My favorite cover of the year with regards to a hidden story. It is one thing to illustrate and illustrate well, but it is another to tell an interesting story. I almost gave up trying to figure out the hidden message of this cover, thinking that it had something to do with Valerio's past work with Star Comics on 20,000 leagues under the sea. I finally found the hidden message when researching the local area of the race (see the full article for more information, video, and more)!

The Artists
It's all about the artists, their education, experiences, backgrounds, and interests. These variables brought to the table give us a palate of new images and stories for us to learn from. Some are meant to be taken at face value while others require in-depth research, a riddle, a mystery, in which we discover through the esoterica, a gem of knowledge to enrich our lives. May the artists, the creators, performers, and entertainers live on so that we may dream and strive for an even better future!
