THE ART OF FORMULA 1 | BARCELONA, SPAIN | WITH ARTIST, FRENCH CARLOMAGNO

    DID YOU KNOW?

Antoni Gaudi (June 25, 1852 – June 10, 1926) was an architect who incorporated many mediums (such as ceramics, stained glass, ironwork and carpentry) into his designs mostly originating in Barcelona, which have been categorized as Catalan modernism.

    Antoni Gaudí's serpentine bench.

Designed with mosaic tiles, the curves of the serpent bench form a number of enclaves, creating a more social atmosphere.

    Antoni Gaudí's "Casa Milà"

"The stone quarry", was the last private residence designed by architect Antoni Gaudí and was built between 1906 and 1912. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in 1984.

The stepped roof of La Pedrera, is called "the garden of warriors". The chimneys which appear to be protecting the skylights are known as espanta bruixes (witch scarers).
