F1 is having its Turkey early this year as it returns to Istanbul after 9 years. #16 Charles Leclerc races in the light of the moon with lightning under his wings. Although depicted at night, the colors of this cover are very bright emphasizing Ferrari reds and yellows as well as the beauty of Galata Tower (tower of Christ). The artist's attention to detail also pictures a crescent moon, a symbol of the Turkish flag.

DID YOU KNOW?

The last Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix was held in 2011. The Turkish Grand Prix was dropped in 2012 due to many possible factors including low attendance, the addition of Austin, Texas to the Grand Prix schedule as well as cost concerns. [1] It has returned this year with many other new or former locations as a change in schedule due to the coronavirus pandemic. Intercity Istanbul Park has a unique circuit layout:

The tower depicted in the cover above is that of Istanbul's Galata Tower (tower of Christ). Originally built in 1348, the tower was used as a fire tower. Now it is a popular tourist destination giving a panoramic view of the city. It also houses a restaurant and nightclub. [2]
