After a flood of endless teasers of all kinds, Audi has finally confirmed the official presentation date of its e-tron GT electric sedan. The car will be unveiled on February 9th and will then reveal its silhouette without any camouflage as well as its interior, still unknown.

If the e-tron GT is based on the platform of the Porsche Taycan for cost reasons, Audi confirms that it will present a style of its own in perfect coherence with the range of the manufacturer with the rings. Design director Marc Lichte has moreover affirmed that this is the most beautiful car he has ever worked on.

Confirmation within three weeks. For the moment, let us recall that the e-tron GT will be offered in two power levels. The entry-level GT version will have 440 PS. The top-of-the-range RS will have 598 PS, or even 646 PS via an overboost function.

The vehicle will have two electric motors, located on each axle to provide four-wheel drive. The rear electric motor will have a two-speed gearbox as on the Porsche Taycan. It is also known that the e-tron GT will have a battery with a net capacity of 83.7 kWh. The first units have already gone into production at the Neckarsulm factory in Germany.

  • Looking forward to it! I really hope it’s priced below the Taycan or it’ll be one more Audi that I can’t afford. Cheers!

  • The interior sort of has to surprise us, because the exterior looks like an A7, only worse.
