  • It'll still produce more pollution through it's short life than the equivalent petrol or diesel will. (When you add in all that's created during manufacture!)

    • That's not true. It's "fake news" that was created to thwart acceptance of electric vehicles. If you've ever seen the process to produce a cast iron block from raw material to finished product, you'd know that.

    • Audi doesn't use cast iron! Cast aluminum. Also I believe he is referring to the battery production. Refining lithium is energy intensive.
