The Audi R8 has been the ultimate naturally-aspirated supercar for quite a long time now. So whenever a special R8 comes, most of us become very excited. Audi has now revealed a new special edition Audi R8 - the "Green Hell" edition - and we love it!

The term "Green Hell" was coined by three-time F1 World Champion Jackie Stewart and the name has been famous ever since then. This R8 celebrates the fact that Audi has won every single race at the Nürburgring with the R8 LMS since 2012.

Powered by that lovely naturally aspirated V10, this R8 has 611 horsepower on offer, more than the R8 Performance version. Mechanically though, the "Green Hell" edition is similar to the R8 performance.

The special features on this R8 include the transparent matte production numbers on the doors, 20-inch matte black, red-rimmed alloy wheels and that lovely Tioman Green paint.

Step inside and you will find a lot of Alcantara having contrast stitching of a color called Kailash Fern (basically, turquoise color). You will also find a number of "Green Hell R8" editions inside alongwith the red piping on various interior components.

Each Green Hell R8 costs around £216,000 ($274,000). This is going to be a pretty rare car as only 50 will be made.

    • This is a ‘special edition’ for the sake of ‘special edition’. Get a standard performance version and save a bucket load of cash.
