The Bentley Bentayga is now the fastest Suv in the world
After setting a world record for the fastest SUV up the Pikes Peak Hill Climb last year, Bentley decided to revive their Speed name to present the world's fastest SUV. It's the Bentayga, obviously, and it has a top speed of 190 mph (306 kph) and it does 0-60 in 3,9 seconds.
This Crewe-born monster has a tweaked version of Bentley's own 6-litre W12 with 626 HP and 900 torques, coupled with an 8-speed gearbox. To help you put all that power down, the Bentayga Speed has a clever AWD traction with a electronic diff lock and eight different settings from its Drive Dynamics system and of course, the car is available with huge carbo-ceramic disk brakes.
The Bentayga Speed also has something called the Bentley Dynamic Ride. There's a 48V electronic system in place which constantly keeps the car balanced so as to keep the car from rolling when changing directions.
Inside we find the usual Bentley luxury with a kicker. This is the first Bentayga to be available with interior made in Alcantara.
The Bentayga Speed will officially be unveiled at the general public during the upcoming Geneva Motor Show and will be put into production in the second half of 2019.
