As we all know, high-end customers are fond of rare, custom-made products. This is largely true in the automotive world where very limited special editions are common among luxury brands. In collaboration with Mulliner, Bentley is now reminding us of this with a limited edition of its Continental GT, limited to Japan.

Named the Equinox Edition, the special series is equipped with specific elements that give it a more sporty than luxurious look. The car's characteristic chrome inserts, such as the grille, window surrounds and door sills, have been replaced by black lacquered parts.

The more athletic side of the Equinox Edition continues with the addition of aerodynamic front and side skirts. There are also special 22-inch silver wheels. The boot lid is topped with a carbon fibre spoiler, while the bumper has a diffuser at the bottom.

The interior features black quilted leather upholstery with grey stitching on the seats, steering wheel and centre console. The Bentley Continental GT Equinox Edition is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 producing 550 PS and 770Nm of torque. This is combined with all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
