The best people's car

When you think of a car for the masses, your first thought might not be the Chevy El Camino. But I think it is actually one, because everyone can use it for his purposes. You get a big V8 for driving pleasure, elegant looks for doing your business in style and a big bed for workers or farmers who need to carry lots of stuff around. This version of the perfect people's car is in a nice metallic dark green with a fat black double stripe on the hood. It has only one drawback: It's a Matchbox diecast which is 69 times too small to fit in.

  • The best peoples car in the UK was probably the Morris Minor in the same period the El Camino was produced as it had various body styles which include a 2 door saloon, 4 door saloon, 2 door convertible, estate car, van, pickup truck. They even got converted into ice cream vans and small fire engines for race tracks and industrial sites. The Morris Minor had a long life span as it was produced from the end of the 1940's all the way to the early 1970's.

    • Yeah, it's probably seen as a people's car by more people than an El Camino for these reasons. I don't think I need to tell you what was the people's car in Germany at that time.
