So they forgot the 5 cyl Audi engines from the 80s then?
I think the Porsche 918 Spyder's V8 could've at least made it to the honorable mentions. In my opinion, it's the best sounding 8 cylinder engine.
Each to their own I guess, I think these are a couple that deserve a mention....

My old man had a petrol Land Rover 110 V8 that sounded better than the V8 cars mentioned
The fact that the 458, Murcielago, Carrera GT and LFA are one of my favorite sounding cars
