The British Motor Show to provide tickets for NHS and care workers
With the help of Blue Light Tickets, 5,000 free family tickets will be provided to frontline and care staff.
Automotion Events (organisers of The British Motor Show) have teamed up with Blue Light Tickets in order to provide 5,000 family tickets to frontline and care staff.
Those wishing to get their free tickets will need to have a Blue Light Card. Blue Light Cards grant free access to events such as concerts and festivals to NHS workers and members of the emergency services as a token of thanks for their work during the pandemic.
CEO of The British Motor Show, Andy Entwistle, said: “Without the incredible work of the NHS over the past 18 months, there’s no way we’d be able to put The British Motor Show on at all, and we want to show some much deserved recognition to the Blue Light workers who have worked so tirelessly and selflessly throughout the pandemic in order to put us back on the road to normality. We know the pandemic isn’t over, but were it not for the efforts of these amazing people there’d be no show at all.”
The highly anticipated motoring event will take place on 19-22 August. Some of the most talked about supercars such as the Maserati MC20 and McLaren Artura will be making an appearance at the event. In addition to this, Sporting Bears will be offering passenger rides to those attending the show - the money from these passenger rides will all be donated to charity. An estimated 50,000 people will be attending the event.
