The Bugatti Chiron Noire is here... but do we need it?

Expensive and exclusive but do we need it?

Bugatti have been a master in producing automotive wonders with cars like the Veyron and the Chiron. The French automaker has broken numerous records with its phenomenal cars. Now there is a new kid on the block which doesn't want to set records but does want to make your knees weak. Welcome to the Bugatti Chiron Noire.

The Chiron Noire is an appearance package that costs 100,000 Euros that pays homage to the special Type 57 SC Atlantic created by Jean Bugatti. The car that disappeared at the beginning of the Second World War.

While this Chiron comes with the "standard" 1,500 horsepower and 1,600 lb-ft of torque, it is loaded with carbon fibre. The exposed carbon fibre adds to the beauty of the car alongwith the four exhaust pipes at its back. All of that is complimented with black brake callipers and a freshly designed new grille.

Restricted to just 20 units, the delivery of this stealth machine will start from the second quarter of 2020 with a starting price of $3,305,445.

But now we come to the debate, while the Noire is very good looking, does the world need another insane Chiron? Let me know in the comments below.

  • Yep! If you’ve got the money and love a bit of luxury and something a little different then go for it.

I’d buy one if I could, even if I already had a Chiron

  • Why not? Does it help them sell cars in order to stay in business? Does doing that allow them to continue to build amazing cars that inspire us? It's like asking; does the world need another Pagani Huayra, like the Imola? I believe so. It is amazing and so is this.

  • "It's not worth it", "Too pricey", etc... You guys are being reasonable. Who buys cars like these are not reasoning between market choices. It's passion and madness, pure nonsense and fantasy. And we need as many of these as Bugatti can create. It's fuel for dreams. It moves our car culture. It's a legend, a unicorn, a mythological beast that makes no sense when put in an Excel spreadsheet.
