  • In exYU these were quite popular. I remember them as more comfy than other Eastern junk, but also heavy and unreliable.

    Definitely cool from todays perspective, I would own one for weekends.

    Anegdote - a friend of mine used to drive one 1500 in Belgrade as a student. During the miserable 90s, few mornings in a row someone would steal all the petrol from his Lada. So, he decided to put 5 liters every morning in it, drive it downtown and next morning same routine. His route was around 15-20 km city drive and she used every droo of that 5 liters every day :)
