The CyberTruck's window was accidentally smashed live on stage
Tesla are very well known for their minimalism when it comes to manufacturing. The interiors of Tesla's models all seem rather basic and contain the bare minimum. Today, Tesla showed what would happen if they took minimalism to the exterior of their cars - but it didn't quite go to plan...
Introducing the CyberTruck. The $40,000 off-roading machine that looks like the roof of a modern apartment. I am still making up my mind as to whether I like it or not!
During the presentation, Elon Musk was showing the durability of this bizarre machine. He started off by throwing a metal ball at a car door and showed the audience the dents that were caused. He then threw the same ball at the door of the new Tesla CyberTruck, the whole car wobbled momentarily, but there was not a dent in sight.

Musk then made a point of the windows on the truck, being far more durable than that of a normal car window. His team set up a car window and went up a ladder, dropping the same metal ball as before. A metal crack appeared down the middle of the window. They repeated the experiment on the glass used in the car, and nothing was broken.
Finally, the embarrassing moment you clicked on this article to see. Elon said "Could you try to break that glass please?", in which the assistant replied "Are you sure?"
After Musk said yes, the ball was thrown at the window, and a large hole appeared halfway through the window. They threw the ball at the rear window and the same thing happened again - After a bit of swearing, Musk said "It didn't go all the way through, but there's some room for improvement..."

The audience and Elon Musk all laughed it off, and the presentation continued. And I have to admit, it looks like a very promising piece of kit - what do you think of this truck? Vote in the poll and let me know in the comments below!
