The difference between a Ford Mustang Gt and the Bullitt
I can imagine, that someone out there has been saving there money for a brand new mustang and they probably are now deciding to by one. At this moment there pondering the implications of the two muscle cars. Under the hood of a standard gt comes with a 5.0 litre v8 engine. This producing a whopping 460 hp, and due to the Bullitt being a limited production car, ford has packed an extra 20 hp. You can only buy the bullitt with a six speed manual transmission. In my opinion it’s better than automatic, you have more of a sense of driving that way, and you feel more connected to the control of the car. The gt is a truly nice car to look at, it stands with an aggressive stance and you will notice this from a far distance. The hood vents further justify this as well as the muscular rear and quad exhaust tips.
Considering the Bullitt is based on the gt there is a number of differences, a blacked out mesh grill very little amount of badges with strong green paint. Followed by red brake calliper’s and styled wheels. All of these things help this car stand out from the gt so when it is looked at it won't be appreciated for a gt. The interior of these two cars are very similar heated and cooled seats, automatic climate control an interface of Apple car play and android auto, allows you to access your favourite apps. You can play music through the nine speaker sound system, a few more good things come as standard on the Bullitt, blind spot monitoring rear cross traffic alert you can get these on the gt as options. Both cars are practical, not as practical as a regular sedan but after all they are muscle cars. The ford mustang gt has between 324 litres to 384 litres whereas the Bullitt 408 litres. These two cars are fast, with a 0 to 60 time in around four seconds with the gt mustang getting to a top speed of 155 mph (250 km) and the Bullitt topping of at 163 mph (262 km). So the difference between the top speeds is not overly dramatic.
The back seats are a little tight, I would not consider these two cars equipped for the family by any means. They can probably fit two small children in the back, but I wouldn't see fully grown adults getting comfortable in there. The Bullitt is more expensive than the gt but not overly, overall these cars don't share an awful lot of difference in build quality. I suggest to the people that have money for a gt to buy a gt but don't wait any longer to buy the bullitt. Not saying it’s worse I am just emphasising that it does not contain much of a difference whether you’re sitting in the gt or the bullitt. Heads will be turned as people stare in amazement as they hear the crackle of a v8 float by them, by the way, both cars sound very good in there different modes. In terms of value don't quote me but I think the Bullitt will climb the market in years to come, whereas a regular mustang loses its value soon as you drive it. If you don't have money for either of these I suggest you look at the 2017 models. Because they are not as expensive, Furthermore these two cars are very iconic, well known high performing v8 muscle cars. Weather you’re considering buying the regular mustang or the Bullitt, I would say you’re in a treat for either of these cars. They are good to look at and they do contain good technology for today's standards. They truly contain the old wise soul of the v8s we will never forget, and they are going to inspire so many people to have a high passion for muscle cars.
