The DVLA. A short outburst
As a 17 year old I have naturally applied for my provisional license. I did it a month ago as you can apply before your birthday. It hasn't shown up yet. The funny thing is that the V5 for the car my mum got for me showed up less than a week after the car showed up. This tells me that the DVLA is more concerned about taxation and documents relating to it than actually giving people their bloody license, THEIR ONE PISSING CORE DUTY.
As you can imagine this is very annoying so I looked online to see what was what and it turns out that people have been waiting for months without licenses because the DVLA won't get it's finger out and actually do its job. I have had to spend all the time since getting my car doing low speed manouvering in my grandparents driveway. Why should I have to pay £170 to insure a Polo when the people I'm paying for the privelege of driving won't let me drive?
