With Project Cars 2 and Gran Turismo Sport coming soon, we can't help but getting all nostalgic about the sim racing games we grew up with. Gran Turismo 3, you were a special one and will always have a special place in my heart.

Thanks to Donut Media, they've condensed the evolution of simulation racing games to a quick six minute walk down memory lane. Watching this makes us appreciate just how far gaming technology has gone in a few decades, and how much farther it can go in the near future. While we wait for Project Cars 2 and Gran Turismo Sport, I'm gonna whip out good ol' GT3 and burn some time.
