The facelifted Alfa Romeo Giulia will be presented at the end of the year
The Italian sedan will undergo a major upgrade
Introduced in 2015, the Alfa Romeo Giulia has received a slight update for 2019 with a handful of new features and additional personalization options. The gesture is welcome but largely insufficient to hope to match the sales levels of the German trio.
That's why the Italian brand is planning to give the Giulia a major facelift at the end of the year that will add even more technology to the sedan and above all change its style more radically. The front end is expected to swap its xenon headlights for LED ones, the design of which will be inspired by the Tonale concept.
The same will be true for the taillights, which will see their design change slightly. The bumpers will also undergo some aesthetic changes. The interior will have a larger infotainment screen featuring the latest evolution of the Uconnect system.
Finally, the car could also receive a digital instrument cluster and new interior trim. Under the bonnet, the Maserati Ghibli's 330 PS 2.0-litre mild-hybrid four-cylinder may make an appearance. The facelifted Alfa Romeo Giulia will go on sale in early 2022.
