The Fastest car

... in the world

1y ago

The fastest car in the world is a topic that always generates a lot of controversy. Everyone agrees that the Koenigsegg Agera RS is the fastest car, because it has already been proven, but the Americans insist that the fastest car is the Henessey Venom F5 even though it has never been proven.

The question I bring is not which car theoretically reaches the highest speed these days. The question is which is the fastest car ever, and for that it would be unfair to exclude the older cars, since there was less development and technology back in the days.

The fastest car ever was the one that, in theory, was put on an infinitely long straight on the first day of production and raced at its top speed to this day.

Given this, this is the top 5 of the fastest cars ever.

5- Jaguar Xk 120

It emerged in 1949 and added beauty with an extraordinary speed, being the 5th fastest car ever, traveling 76 650 000 miles.

4- Lamborghini Miura

The Miura was released in 1967 and with a top speed of 170mph it ran 77 438 400 miles.

3- Iso Rivolta Grifo

This Italian car is the big surprise. Remembered by few and forgotten by many is the 3rd fastest car ever with a top speed of 160mph and ran 78 489 600 miles.

2- Aston Martin DB4 GT

This icon has traveled 78 840 000 since 1959, never going under 150mph, making it the 2nd fastest car ever.

1- Mercedes 300 SL

Finally we got to number 1 and we conclude that Mercedes 300 SL with a dizzying top speed of 152 mph and traveled 85 217 280 miles since 1955 is the fastest car ever.

Feel free to do the calculations of your car and you may find that it is faster than a Ferrari Enzo or even a Mclaren P1. Leave in the comments the distance traveled by your car.
