Remember the Nissan GTR? The car that came from Japan and was the 911's biggest headache for quite some time. You're not wrong if you've forgotten about it because it is very old now. While the sports car world has moved on, the GTR hasn't. Now though, a new report claims that the GT-R R35 will get the perfect send-off in the form of a final edition.

According to a report by Best Car Web, the final R35 will be revealed in 2022 and it will have 710 horsepower. Yup, you read that right. Seven Hundred horsepower.

The website also pointed out that the final edition will cost around 40 million yen in Japan ($377,300). As the 'Final edition' will be the R35 Godzilla's ultimate swansong, it will be limited to just 20 units.

This also means that we might see a new Nissan GTR in 2023. But isn't 2023 too late to unveil a 'new' Nissan GTR? The Japanese car maker better up his standard because the 911 by then, might be a complete monster.

  • Final edition, last chance to actually make it look as good as it is. Design has always been too average for the amazing car it is

  • Are they really gonna make us sit for 2 whole years for a FINAL version when they could just make a new one🤦‍♂️

  • A 13 year old car that can still keep up with the current, that's impressive. R36 has a lot to live up to.
