To celebrate the return of the Tron movies in 2010, US Chopper builders 'Parker Brothers' built five real-life examples that were fully working and even road legal.

The bikes were identical to those used in the movies and all five examples (red, blue, green orange and yellow, along with matching helmets) came with a choice of V-Twin internal combustion engines or electrically powered motors.

Special tyres were made up to fit the enormous 22" x 12" hubless rims - and the manufacturer, Hoosier, made additional tyres available to the owners as these bikes were designed to be used. Just how many miles they've all racked up is questionable, most are probably in a collection. You can't blame the owners, comfort doesn't look like a design priority after all.

All five were quickly sold at a price of $35,000 and if any were to come back up for sale today, it's likely the price would be far higher due to the rarity of these crazy machines.
