In the United States, the biggest Sunday night of the year is happening in a few hours (at the time of writing). This means huge parties, big bets, excitement, heartbreak, and of course, laughing at the Super Bowl commercials. With this being an automotive website, I figured I would share what I think the funniest car related Super Bowl Ads have been throughout the years.

Hyundai: "Smaht Pahk" (2020)

Let's kick this list off with Hyundai and one of several ads on this list, Hyundai's , "Smaht Pahk" commercial. Their "Smaht Pahk" commercial was aired during the 2020 Super Bowl (SB LIV) and featured Boston actors John Krasinski, Chris Evans, and Rachel Dratch, and MLB Hall Of Famer David Ortiz showing off the new Sonata's "smart park" technology with Boston accents.

Volkswagen: "The Force" (2012)

Volkswagen struck comedy gold for their Super Bowl ad in 2012, featuring a kid dressed up as everyone's favorite sith, Darth Vader, and trying his hardest to master " The Force" on everything to no avail. That is until Dad gets home in his brand new Volkswagen Passat in which he uses "The Force" to start the car thanks to Dad sneakily using the key Fob.

Hyundai: First Date (2016)

Dads have one fear and only one fear. Boys interested in their daughter and Hyundai used this for their commercial starring, Kevin Hart. His daughter goes on a date with a boy and Kevin tells the boy to use his new Hyundai Genesis. The catch is he does this so he can track and spy on the boy using the car's tracking system and it's pretty entertaining.

Honda: Matthew Broderick's Day Off

2012 was a great year for Super Bowl Ads, and Honda's entry was no exception. Honda decided to create a 60-second version of the classic movie, Ferris Buller's Day Off starring the new Honda CR-V. Oh, and Matthew Broderick playing hooky from work.

Toyota: The Longest Chase (2016)

In 2016, Toyota definitely had one of the best commercial campaigns for the Super Bowl, featuring every gear-heads least favorite car on the planet, the Prius. Basically, a group of bank robbers had their getaway car towed so they needed a new getaway car. The car they steal, the brand-new Toyota Prius, and they leave the previous owner a bag of stolen cash. How nice. Anyway, they end up leading the police on a huge chase that lasts several commercials. Here is the full compilation below:

Hyundai: Unpleasant Moments (2019)

Life is full of unpleasant moments from root canals, and "The Talk", to even car buying. Hyundai showed us via a life elevator that Jason Bateman controls and brings us to these life moments until a couple uses Hyundai Customer Assurance which isn't unpleasant and is a comfortable experience.

That's all I have for this list let me know which is your favorite and leave a comment. Don't forget to bump this article and follow me.
