A few years after its rebirth, the Alpine brand is taking a radical turn with a future entirely focused on electric cars. And for the French manufacturer to survive, it must of course follow the market and customer expectations. An SUV will therefore inevitably take root in the future range.

This vehicle, which could be called the A410, will be revealed in 2023-2024 and will have a coupé SUV style with a sloping roofline. It will feature the aesthetic attributes of the A110 with a double pair of round headlights and bodywork that alternates between sharp edges and curves.

In terms of technology, the vehicle will use the Nissan Ariya platform and its two electric motors providing all-wheel drive. Power should reach 500 PS on the top of the range version. Two batteries with capacities of 63 or 87 kWh will be available for ranges of between 250 and 310 mi (400 and 500 km).

In order to keep a certain dynamism in accordance with the Alpine tradition, the A410 would also receive four-wheel steering with action laws based on the chosen driving modes. Finally, in terms of equipment, the Alpine SUV will offer, among other things, adaptative dampers and level 2 semi-autonomous driving.

  • This brand should have wait a little bit before becoming EV, just in order to have more experience in ICE sport cars because since 2016 and her re-born they only made one car (Apline A110)
