The Grand Tour Is Back This October!

What's the latest according to JAmes May? Well it's... GOOD NEWS!

3y ago

"October is when you'll first be able to see it, but after that, you'll be able to see it whenever you want, of course. I'm told to say that!"

This is the quote James May has left us in regards to the return of The Grand Tour during his interview on The One Show - and we're getting excited!

Apparently our favourite trio are finalising the edit, and this October it will start being uploaded to watch on Amazon Prime Video.

On being asked how much the budget has been for the second season, James seemed unwilling to tell The One Show a quantifiable figure, but says, "As little as possible. No, it's about the same, I would think. It is quite an expensive show to make.

"There's a lot of travel involved. There's a lot of crew involved. There's a lot of tech involved, filming in 4K. But that's boring stuff. It's going to look largely the same, but we've moved it on a bit in a way that I can't really tell you about yet because you're the enemy and it's secret!"

Have they taken what everyone has said into account? Will the American be joining them again? There are still plenty of questions needing answers, but as soon as we find out, we will let you know!

We can't wait to be greeted with the next season of The Grand Tour, and I'm sure you're all in the same boat. The same, jet powered, amphibious, boat.

  • The American's unpopularity is legendary

  • Last series was shite. Hope they tear up the script and feature more supercars. Their budget is irrelevant if they are not utilising it effectively.

  • Replace the American with Jenson Button - he needs a new job!
